Gareth lives in make-believe worlds somewhere in the dark spaces between fantasy and science fiction. There he converses with imaginary friends and survives on a diet of tea, the finest curries available to humanity, and the occasional slice of Battenberg.
With over thirty years of experience writing for Roleplaying games through almost every genre that interests him, Gareth finally bit the bullet and decided to finish a full novel starting in late 2017.
From all his favourite settings which include fantasy, sci-fi, pirates and samurai, he eventually settled on his favourite – Steampunk.
His first Steampunk novel, Fogbound, launched on Amazon on 8th Aug 2019 where it quickly rose to become a best seller in the Steampunk Genre.

London, 1899: a ruined city under martial law.
It was just another bounty job for Simmons – recover a killer escaping beyond the massive walled city, while avoiding the toxic red fog and the tainted creatures who make their home Fogside since the failed Martian Invasion in 1894.
But when he stumbles across a dastardly plot to overthrow Empress Victoria, the hunter becomes the hunted.
With the brutal military police on his trail, he needs to gather others to his cause, learn who is responsible for this treason and keep the Empire he loves from plunging into eternal darkness.
But in the darkest and most fogbound areas of the flooded London streets, a sinister intelligence watches, biding its time until the hour of reckoning is at hand…
ArkZeroNine: A vision of a dystopian future many years after a cataclysmic event has destroyed the world we know. The survivors unknowingly live their entire lives within the confines of a massive Arcology and have regressed to a feudal state with all but a handful understanding the true dangers of their world.
